Day wise Itinerary
Day 1.
Leh: Arrival and Acclimatization
Welcome to the magical valley of Ladakh.
Enter the mesmerizing district of Leh Ladakh. Upon your arrival at the Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh, an agent’s representative will receive you and escort you to the hotel. Register yourself at the reception and spend the remaining day acclimatizing to the high altitudes of Ladakh.
Your Leh Ladakh tour itinerary allows you to spend your evening at leisure. Take your kids to the vibrant Leh market followed by a hearty dinner. You can visit Tibetan Kitchen or Lamayuru restaurant with your family. Come back to the hotel for a peaceful night’s sleep.
Day 2.
Leh: Explore monasteries in Leh
Spend the second day of your Ladakh family package by indulging in historical sightseeing.
After a delicious breakfast proceed to visit the various Buddhist monasteries in Leh with your family. Visit the Thiksey Monastery, which is located at an altitude of 11,800 feet. Founded around the mid 15th century, the gompa contains a high statue of Maitreya which is the largest such statue in Ladakh.
Come back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep
Day 3.
Leh: An excursion to KhardungLa Pass
Visit KhardungLa Pass on the third day.
Spend quality time with your friends over a delicious breakfast and then proceed to KhardungLa Pass.
Revel in the beauty of snowy mountain peaks on this day excursion. This highest motorable pass in the world – the KhardungLa Pass is bound to get you excited and high. A mesmerizing experience to be shared with your kids, this trip will definitely bring you close. Come back to the hotel in Leh for a cozy, overnight stay.
Day 4.
Leh: Pangong Tso via Chang La
Enjoy a healthy breakfast at the hotel and then proceed to visit the Pangong Tso lake on your 5 days Ladakh family package. You will also cross Chang La – the second highest mountain pass in Ladakh.
The Pangong Tso, perched at an altitude of 14,500 feet is an endorheic lake. Ideal for a day out with your friends, the beauty of this lake will leave you delighted. You can also take your kids to the school where the popular Bollywood movie 3 Idiots was shot. Visit the Hemis Monastery next and come back to Leh after a satisfying excursion.
Day 5.
Leh: Departure
